062: It's Above Me Now!

In this episode, Nat is joined by regular guest Brian and talk through some hot topics from recent headlines. They dive into the early verdict on New York’s new mayor, Zohran Mamdani, and what his leadership could signal politically and culturally. From there, they head south to discuss the arrest of Bellarmine Mugabe, son of Robert Mugabe, on attempted murder charges in South Africa, unpacking the wider implications. They also get into the fallout from the BAFTA Awards and the conversations that followed. Who was celebrated, who was sidelined, and what it all says about culture, power and platform. And in some exciting news, Nat and Brian announce their brand new radio show, Cape to Cairo, launching on The New Blxck Network later this year. ——————- Stay connected with Brian: https://www.instagram.com/brian_lunga?igsh=dW53eGY3dTAzNHNq —————— Chat With Nat is a podcast that amplifies diasporic voices, memory, migration, and identity - with laughter and reflection.  Hosted by Natasha, a Zimbabwean living in London, the show explores the dual, nuanced experiences of migrants navigating life between worlds.  Whether it’s light-hearted chats or deeper conversations, Chat With Nat is your space to feel seen, understood, and a little less alone.
