A Detective, A Secret, A Murder | Nairobi’s Shocking Case

What happens when the man sworn to protect becomes the prime suspect? This is the story of Florence Nyagah — a woman described as kind, driven, and full of life — whose future was cut short inside her own home. Her husband, Daniel Macharia, a senior officer with Kenya’s Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), now stands at the center of one of Nairobi’s most disturbing cases. From a seemingly stable marriage in Roysambu… to a crime scene that shocked an entire nation… This HBO/Netflix-style true crime documentary takes you deep into: The life and dreams of Florence Nyagah The background of a DCI officer under pressure The events leading up to the tragic incident The investigation that turned inward The forensic findings and courtroom battle This is more than a case. It’s a story about trust, silence, and the reality that sometimes… danger lives closest to home.
