Black Harlem Residents Expose Migrants For DOING THIS?
About this track
In this video, I shine a light on an unfolding situation on 125th Street in Harlem involving local legend Tammy Treadwell, the beloved "Queen of Seafood" behind the Harlem Seafood Soul food truck. Despite her heavy investment and deep ties to the community, her mobile truck was recently targeted and towed by city officials over New York's notoriously strict and limited vending licensing laws. I react to footage from a frustrated resident exposing the glaring double standard on the ground. Local Black business owners who have been feeding the community for years are being squeezed out and penalized, while an influx of undocumented and foreign street vendors are seemingly allowed to operate completely unchecked right in front of transit hubs. We dive deep into the economic realities of street vending permits, the strain on historical local neighborhoods, and the hypocrisy of municipal enforcement that ignores unlicensed operations while targeting tax-paying community staples. #HarlemSeafoodSoul #TammyTreadwell #HarlemNews #StreetVendors #BlackOwnedBusiness #EconomicDisparity Subscribe to Kenganda and become part of a community that celebrates African Americans and the African diaspora🌍✨ CONNECT WITH US https://www.instagram.com/kengandanation/ https://www.facebook.com/kengandanation/ https://x.com/kengandanation?s=20 https://www.tiktok.com/@kengandanation https://www.instagram.com/oshayduke/ Watch our other videos Join our whatsapp group for viewers https://chat.whatsapp.com/GpUXfxkhgic...
