365 Daily Devotions: Bible Character Edition 💁🏻 Who Is Noah? The Meaning of the Rainbow – God’s Promise After the flood, the world was quiet and new again. Noah and his family stepped out of the ark, knowing how serious sin is and how powerful God’s judgment can be. Then God did something kind and comforting. He placed a rainbow in the sky. The rainbow was not given because people became good, but because God is faithful. It was God’s promise that He would never again destroy the whole world with a flood. The rainbow reminds us that God keeps His word. This shows us God’s covenant grace - His promise depends on Him, not on human goodness.
