DMT Test Subject: "The Entities Know When We Will Die!" | Carl Hayden Smith

In this clip he describes the most powerful DMT experience of his life, and it is not the visuals. Strapped into an fMRI machine, head locked, unable to move, and not in control of when the drug hit, he says the entities arrived all at once. They gave him a flash of light to tell him he was an immortal being in temporary human form, and then they told him something that has stayed with him: "you're not scheduled." As if they know exactly when each person is scheduled to die, and this was not his time. He is careful about what that means. To Smith it read as evidence that the moment of death may be predetermined, and that whatever these beings are, they seem to have access to that knowledge. What made it stranger was the follow-up. Two weeks later he went back into the scanner for the same dose and the same experiment, and no entities came at all — as if, he jokes, he had been crying wolf and had already been told this was not the cleverest thing to be doing. The other half of the clip is a genuine role reversal. Smith says the entities are normally the ones "scanning" us, so finding a human inside a loud machine scanning him left them confused and concerned, and he spent the entire trip calming them down. He uses the experience to explain why context is roughly 80% of any psychedelic outcome — mindset, body set, and environment — and why a claustrophobic hospital scanner is close to the worst possible place to meet whatever is waiting on the other side. He is a professor who says he is still on the fence about whether these entities are archetypes, higher selves, future versions of us, or something real we tap into. The claim the clip leaves you with: they seemed to know his death was already on a schedule. Subscribe for more: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQ_piSR8gm-TfHZcDWOJ
