On November 14, 1960, a six-year-old girl walked to her first day of first grade behind four federal marshals, past a mob screaming at her, past a woman who promised every morning to poison her food. A few blocks before the school, Ruby Bridges stopped on the sidewalk and prayed for the people who hated her. The mob owned the sidewalk. A child owned the morning. This morning devotional walks through three truths: the enemy wants your morning before he wants anything else (John 10:10, Lamentations 3:22-23, Psalm 5:3, and Jesus rising before daylight in Mark 1:35), how he actually steals a morning without you ever noticing (1 Peter 5:8, Ephesians 6:12, and Daniel's open window in Daniel 6:10), and the three steps that take it back (Psalm 118:24, Exodus 16:21, James 4:7). Stay for the hidden reason so many believers lose this battle - and for the one morning in Ruby's story that was already stolen before she could pray. Stay to the end for a blessed prayer over your morning, your family, your finances, your healing and your breakthrough, in the mighty name of Jesus. 🙏 If this prayer blessed you, comment "MY MORNING BELONGS TO GOD" and share it with someone whose first hour has been under attack. 🔔 Subscribe and turn on notifications so you never miss a morning prayer.
