Elevating As Black Men & Women

I LOVE this video of this Black woman explaining to a young woman why she shouldn't have her bonnet on in public. And what I love most is that she’s not saying it out of anger or judgment; she’s saying it because she wants to see her ELEVATE herself. Honestly, “just do you” is a little overrated. It doesn’t mean do EVERYTHING you want, especially when some choices can devalue you. As Black men and women, we are often judged solely off our appearance. Let’s push each other to present the best version of ourselves. 👏🏾 #Elevation #BlackExcellence #Representation GODFREYLIVE.COM Get your tickets to see me live!
