I genuinely thought onions were the same everywhere. Then I left Nigeria. I was cooking in Rwanda recently and realised something shocking: even Rwandan onions don’t have the same strength as Nigerian onions 😂🧅 A Nigerian onion enters the kitchen and immediately starts asserting dominance. Before you’ve even chopped half of it, you’re crying, questioning your life choices, and texting your loved ones. I’ve travelled to quite a few countries now, and honestly, nothing compares.
