Sometimes you make plans, spend the money, and fully intend to do something… and then one thing after another starts going wrong. I was invited to a masquerade party in the Philippines for charity and bought two tickets for ₱3,000. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, I quickly realized I had completely underestimated just how formal this party was going to be. 😂 Then came the search for a mask, the hunt for a suit, closed stores, a surprise second chance at finding a tuxedo… only to discover that none of them fit. And just when I thought I might finally have everything figured out, I received a tropical storm warning with possible flooding and landslides in the mountains—the exact area where the party was being held.
