It is a place of sea breeze, silence, memory, and a deeply personal story from Siam’s past. In this cinematic short film, we explore the quiet beauty of the summer palace of King Rama VI, also known as Vajiravudh, and the story that gives this place its emotional heart: his relationship with Princess Consort Suvadhana, the birth of their daughter, and the way love, duty, and memory became part of this palace by the sea. Inspired by the storytelling style of my Ayutthaya film, this video unfolds as a quiet conversation between present and past — with the narrator asking questions, and history answering through atmosphere, architecture, and the voices of those who once walked here.
