Ray Curry Called Philip Anthony Mitchell a Liar... And This Feels Personal

Ray Curry called Philip Anthony Mitchell a liar, and when Bro Bruce and I listened to the full argument, we caught something that went beyond a normal disagreement between Christian leaders. In this WDTSS conversation, we examine Pastor Ray Curry Jr., Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell, 2819 Church, the Daystar Television connection, and the comments about Philip’s platform, popularity, prominence and influence. Is this biblical correction and pastoral accountability, or did an old issue with Daystar make this personal? We play the Ray Curry clips, follow the receipts and ask one basic question: Did he actually prove Philip Anthony Mitchell lied? We also talk about Christian celebrity culture, church leadership, jealousy, pride, ego, public rebuke, false accusations and what happens when a disagreement about ministry platforms turns into an attack on somebody’s character. Appearing on Daystar can be questioned, but calling a pastor a liar is serious, and serious accusations need real evidence. Then we bring it back to the Bible. What does Scripture say about judging motives, speaking the truth in love, exposing error, jealousy among preachers, Christian accountability and correcting church leaders publicly? Watch Pastor Rod and Bro Bruce break down the Philip Anthony Mitchell controversy and Ray Curry’s accusations, then tell us whether Ray exposed a real problem or whether his Daystar history caused this to cross the line.
