Rostam - In a River | Live Session

@musicROSTAM performing 'In a River', initially published as a single in 2018. Shot at Le Solaris, Paris - September 2026 '”In A River” is one of my favorite songs but it didn’t come out on an album. It was the first song I wrote after my record Half-Light and it was the first song I wrote on a mandolin. It’s about a town in Massachusetts that does not have a river. It’s actually about a beach that fills up and empties out with water. In this one-take we got to capture a piece of Paris, a piece of sunset, the full song, and the dance of director Clara Griot weaving between the four of us on the roof.' - Rostam Rostam Batmanglij - vocals Ben Carbone - pedal steel Jack Hallenbeck - mandolin Amir Yaghmai - violin Directed by Clara Griot Sound directed by Étienne Pozzo Assisted by Lucas Egensperger Edited by Clara Griot Mixed by Etienne Pozzo and Evan Pruett Color Graded by David Bouhsira La Blogothèque Productions Executive producer: Ondine Benetier Production manager: Mathilde Picquart Post-production coordinator: Hortense Maunoury Post-production technician: Camille Grateau Administration: Céline Beillon Communication: Simon Dumottier Rostam’s team Nicola Searle, Paul Yates, Evan Pruett Label: Matsor Projects Management : Good Harbor Special thanks to Julien and Réda at Le Solaris © 2026 Matsor Projects — Want to see more?
