Russian drone shot down over Kyiv falls into Dnieper River

Footage shows an intercepted Russian drone spiralling out of the sky before crashing into the Dnieper River in Kyiv. The incident comes as Ukraine says it as successfully intercepted several Russian ballistic missiles and drones overnight, amid continued pressure on its air defence systems. President Volodymyr Zelensky said this week that Ukraine had received “a few” Patriot air defence systems, but did not disclose their source. Zelensky has previously claimed that 10% of the US stockpile of Patriot systems would be enough to shoot down all Russian missiles, while 5% would help Ukraine get through the winter.
