S4 | Ep. 8 Drag Talk with Maria Lava

We’re joined by the one and only Maria Lava, Cebu Drag Queen, performer, and certified stage slayer, for a conversation that’s equal parts fierce, funny, and full of fire. From the art of drag and building a persona, to behind-the-scenes chaos, glow-ups, and the reality of performing in heels higher than your standards, Maria spills the tea on what it really takes to serve looks and own the stage. We talk about creativity, confidence, struggles, and the hustle behind the glam, plus a lot of laughs, shady banter, and unserious cheka along the way (because it wouldn’t be UCSP without it). Expect big energy, bigger personalities, and stories that will make you gag in the best way. Get ready, Chekadings… Maria Lava didn’t come to play, she came to slay. 💋✨ This episode is powered by Sonor Studios.
