She Crashed Dodging Traffic In The Philippines

Sometimes things just don't work out the way you planned. This weekend was supposed to be about getting the new KLX300 ready and finally getting out for a ride, but a few unexpected problems with the new foot pegs and shifter meant the bike wasn't quite ready. Then the weather turned, the rain came down, and our plans for the weekend—including the masquerade party—fell apart. At the time, it was frustrating. But looking back, maybe everything happens for a reason. Then today, April was turning onto her family's road when traffic suddenly became a problem and she nearly collided head-on with another rider. Thankfully, they avoided the collision, but April did go down and ended up with a few bumps and bruises. Fortunately, she's okay. Living in the Philippines has given me plenty of experiences where things don't go according to plan, and sometimes you don't realize why something didn't work out until later.
