Sitting in Sadness

Sometimes we think the gospel promise is that if we're faithful, we'll never feel sadness. But that's not the promise. The promise is that Christ can meet us in our sadness, walk with us through it, and eventually heal what mortality cannot. Faith doesn't remove every tear. It helps us know those tears won't last forever.
