Second, the hidden power of fasting: why Jesus said "when you fast," the fast God has chosen, and Daniel, who was heard from the very first day (Matthew 6:17-18, Isaiah 58:6, Daniel 10:12). Third, the turning point God brings: Jesus returning in the power of the Spirit, and Esther's three-day fast before the king (Luke 4:14, Joel 2:12, Esther 4:16). Along the way you will hear the hidden reason so many believers lose this battle. Fasting can start small, with one meal or one day.
