About this track

What if every person you meet was, in some way, another version of you? That's the basic idea behind Andy Weir's "The Egg" theory, and it got me thinking about empathy, forgiveness, kindness, and the way we see the people around us. I don't know if The Egg is literally true—and that's not really the point of this video. I think it's an interesting thought experiment that can change the way we look at other people. I've also been thinking about how much my own life changed when I stopped spending so much time caught up in negativity, arguments, politics, and things I couldn't control, and started paying more attention to the life happening right in front of me. Maybe the world isn't always as negative as we make it seem. Maybe what we choose to focus on changes the world we experience. And maybe when we put more positivity, kindness, patience, and empathy into the world, some of it finds its way back to us. Not always. Not from everyone. But perhaps more often than it would if we approached everything expecting the worst. This isn't a video about having all the answers. It's just something I've been thinking about—and I wanted to share it with you. Thanks for watching and being part of JoGo Wonder.
