Throwback: The Donald Duke Episode

Before Tinubu. Before Atiku's last run. Before half of you even knew Loose Talk existed, we sat down with the man who wanted to be president of Nigeria.July 2018. Donald Duke. Two-term Governor of Cross River. Architect of Tinapa, the Calabar Carnival, and the cleanest city this country has ever produced. Days into declaring his run, weeks away from clinching the SDP ticket.AOT2, Steve, and Osagie put him in the chair and went everywhere. Power. Security. Boko Haram. Agriculture. The population time-bomb. Abacha. Fela. Eight years later, the country has changed. The questions haven't.This week, we're pulling the tape from the vault and running it back. Same problems. Different president. You decide if anything's actually moved.----------------Follow Loose Talk on Twitter and Instagram.Write to us: fanmail@loosetalkgiants.comSupport Loose Talk: https://donate.stripe.com/bIY6oW0VHaHS2eA3ccLoose Talk is produced by Global Village.
