My attempts to reconstruct an unknown electronic track I heard on a late-night radio broadcast on a Russian radio station in the mid-1990s. This track is a reconstruction created entirely from memory. I heard the original electronic composition on late-night radio about thirty years ago. I recorded it on cassette, but the recording was later lost, and I was never able to identify the artist or title. The instrumentation, arrangement, sound design, and recording presented here were created from scratch. The bass line, groove, and parts of the melodic contour are based on what I remember, but the tonality, sounds, structure, and many musical details may differ significantly from the original. The purpose of publishing this reconstruction is to find the original recording and its creator. If you recognize the track, melody, or bassline, please contact me or leave a comment with any information. This release is available free of charge. Additional payments are considered as support for the work of reconstructing and documenting this musical memory.
