When someone else gets your blessing (2 Samuel 1) | Kaci Nicole

What do you do when God gives someone else your blessing? When someone else walks through the door you were praying would open—or receives what you thought was meant for you? In this video, we're continuing our deep dive through 1 & 2 Samuel, and David's response in 2 Samuel 1 shows us something profound about how to handle one of the most painful parts of waiting: watching someone else receive what you thought was yours. We'll unpack why David mourned instead of celebrated when Saul died, what his response reveals about true godly leadership, and the two paths we all face when we're disappointed by God's timing—the way of Saul, or the way of David. I also share a personal story from one of my hardest waiting seasons—when I had a front-row seat to watch God hand what I thought was my answered prayer…to someone else. If you've ever struggled with bitterness, unanswered prayer, or trusting God when His plans don't look like yours, this one is for you.
