Why Are These People Calling Their Pastor “DADDY”?!

Why are these people calling their pastor “Daddy”?! Listen, I understand respecting your pastor and appreciating somebody who has helped you grow in your faith. But this whole spiritual father thing deserves some serious questions. When did calling somebody “Pastor” stop being enough? This conversation about church culture, spiritual leadership, and the way we treat preachers might step on some toes, but we need to have it. Does calling your pastor “Daddy” automatically mean something is wrong, or does the relationship behind that title tell the real story? Where is the line between honoring church leaders and putting a man on a pedestal? Spiritual fatherhood, pastoral authority, and church tradition should all be open to examination. If we’re going to call something biblical, we ought to be able to explain it with Scripture instead of getting offended because somebody asked a question. Here on What Do The Scriptures Say with Pastor Rod, we can talk about pastors, Christian leadership, accountability, and biblical discernment without putting anybody above correction. I want to hear where you stand on this. Is “Daddy” just a term of respect in your church, or have some people taken their attachment to a pastor too far? Watch the video, leave your position in the comments, and subscribe for more straight conversations about faith, the Bible, and what’s happening in the church. 📬 Got questions, video ideas, or want me to review a false teacher or doctrine?
